Hi! I'm Marney. Congratulations and welcome to Empowered Lactation. I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, with more than 30 years of clinical experience. My passion is supporting you in your parenting and breastfeeding journey by using all the skills I have developed as a Registered Nurse, Midwife and Lactation Consultant over my 30 year career.  I'm also a mother and I've raised two beautiful boys of my own. I certainly understand some of the real challenges parents may face on their parenting and breastfeeding journey. I can support you during your pregnancy and parenting experience to feel empowered!

I also understand that when you need support with your baby, a home visit as soon as possible is also important, which is why I aim to respond promptly and offer you my experience and expertise in your own home.

I have dedicated my professional career to finding simple, effective and practical strategies to support you and your baby.

I offer a wide range of support, knowing that the more you are empowered and confident, the more you will thrive as a new parent.
